Loving Real Estate since 2004
I say that proudly because for the last 5+ years I’ve worked in the Real Estate industry as it is now. So, much has changed these last few years that some of the old ways are not always the best practices in today’s market. Many have asked me “Why are you getting into Real Estate now? Isn’t this the worst time to do it?” That is a good question. My answer is that if there ever was a good time to learn all the tricks of the trade, it would be now. Besides, so much has changed; programs that President Obama is creating, change in how appraisals are done, the different ways to get a loan when banks don’t want to lend, how to get the job done when times are so hard for so many like in Short Sale properties, and how to buy a bank owned (REO) house with huge competition. This is the Real Estate Industry of today.
I started this journey by moving from my first home and renting it out for a time. I did property management as I purchased other homes and remodeled them for rentals. I understand how difficult it all can be and offer my experiences as needed, for I understand the short sale process from one who has gone through it.
I understand the importance of technology today. As a self-taught geek I use whatever means to make the process as efficient, waste free, and productive as possible. The REOs (Bank Owned properties) use technology immensely.
As a Dept. Manager in sales, I understand what it means to listen to your client and provide the best, most professional service, to have good communication to all parties, and find a way to make it happen.
Finally, to complete the package, I have signed up with Coldwell Banker Coon and McCreary, Realtor office in Pleasant Hill. This premier office has it all, the best agents for all kinds of Real Estate specialties as well as a Broker that has over 35 years experience. If I don’t know the answer, someone on this superior team will.
